BBC Children in Need - The BBC Children in Need Small Grants programme is designed to help locally led youth groups. The money is available for running costs, activities and equipment. The maximum that can be applied for is £10, 000 for three years, however the fund is keen to target local organisations who want small amounts of money. Scottish Community Foundation - Community Grants - Express Grants (£250 - £2,000) and Main Grants (£2,000 to £5,000) for constituted groups involved in social welfare and community development activities. Visit www.scottishcf.org/apply  or call 0141 341 4960.

Awards for All - £500 to £10,000 for art, sport and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community. Visit www.awardsforall.org.uk/scotland  or call 0870 240 2391.

Community Food and Health Scotland - £500 to £4,000 for groups and agencies in Scotland who wish to improve access to, and take up of, a healthy, varied and balanced diet. Visit  www.communityfoodandhealth.org.uk or call 0141 227 6463/6464.

Women's Fund for Scotland - Express Grants (£250 - £2,000) and Main Grants (£2,000 to £5,000) for projects that support women's (aged 16 and over) development and equality. Visit www.scottishcf.org/grantsforwomen or call 0141 341 4960.

Voluntary Action Fund Community Chest - Grants of up to £1,000 and free training to help small community groups sustain and develop their activities. Visit www.voluntaryactionfund.org.uk  or call 01383 620780.

Co-operative Membership Community Fund - £100 to £2,000 for community, voluntary or self help groups.Visit www.co-operative.coop/membership/local-communities/community-fund  or call 0161 827 5879.

Comic Relief - Range of grants programmes, including funding for sexually exploited and trafficked young people, young people and alcohol and young people with mental health problems. visit www.comicrelief.com/apply or call 020 7820 5555.

Forestry for People Challenge Fund- Funding for groups to realise the contribution of local woodlands to the health, learning and strengthening of communities. www.forestry.gov.uk/scotland

Kelly Family Charitable Trust- £1,000 - £5,000 for sports and health-related charities whose activities involve all or most family members. Visit www.kfct.org.uk
