; Before You Start

Many groups initially set up because they see a 'need' in their local area, and as a group of parents, friends or local community group they decide to do something about it. Before you open the door to additional volunteers and young people your 'organising committee' will need to think about a few things first.  A constitution (a document about how the group is governed) and bank account are usually the first steps.
